Plans after highschool

Plan

My plan after high school is to attend college and pursue a career in nursing. From a young age, I harbored the dream of becoming a doctor, driven by a deep-seated desire to help others and make a significant impact in the healthcare field. As I matured and gained a clearer understanding of the extensive education, rigorous training, and years of dedication required to become a doctor, I began to reconsider my path. This reflection wasn't about giving up my dream but rather finding a path that aligns with my personal goals and circumstances. In researching various roles within healthcare, I discovered that nursing offers a unique opportunity to provide direct patient care while still being part of a dynamic and evolving field. My experiences, such as volunteering in the NICU, reinforced my passion for patient interaction and care. Nursing allows me to fulfill my aspiration of making a difference in people's lives, while also offering flexibility and opportunities for specialization and advancement. This career choice enables me to enter the workforce more quickly, yet still pursue further studies or specializations in the future if I choose. Ultimately, choosing nursing is about striking a balance between my personal aspirations and my practical considerations, allowing me to start making a meaningful impact sooner and grow in a profession that values compassion, dedication, and excellence

Colleges

After graduating from high school, I am eager to continue my education by attending college. While I have a strong inclination to stay in Georgia, I'm keeping my options open, as I'm willing to explore opportunities beyond the state, especially if they come with substantial financial support such as scholarships or grants. My primary focus is on pursuing a degree in nursing, a field I am deeply passionate about due to its impact on patient care and the community. Some colleges I've looked into are:
